San Pedro and San Pablo.
Spanish Baroque.
Jesuits. The church is nicknamed the Sistine Chapel of America because of the frescos that adorn its walls. St Paul's interior is over-the-top Spanish gold-leaf Baroque, but the artworks reflect both Spanish inspiration and local influences. There's no space that isn't decorated or filled with a painting. The people in this district are mainly indigenous citizens of Quechua descent.
The building is regarded as a World Monument.
Approx 1570 - 1629.

Andahuaylillas is a typical small town in the mountains dedicated to farming. Their small scale farms allow locals to produce corn and fruits for the community and the surplus is offered in Cusco, only 40 mins away.

Raqchi: (San Pedro) at 125km from Cusco. Here we find the Raqchi archeological complex, a grand example of Inca architecture, located at the skirts of the QinsaChata volcano. Inside the complex we will see remains of the grand Temple constructed in honour of the God Wiracocha.
Access is through the village market place where this shot of a local was taken.
