I visited Southwell Workhouse today which is now a museum maintained by the National Trust. The building is the least altered workhouse in existence today, almost unchanged since the 19th century. Southwell, Nottinghamshire 2011.
During the next few days I’ll upload some images of the re-enactors that really made the day even more interesting.
