Although they only made one album way back in 1978, The Hawklords, led by the mercurial Bob Calvert, has always been one of my favourite bands – unfortunately Calvert passed away in '88 but the band, all former members of Hawkwind are currently collaborating as the Hawklords as a tribute to him.; I was lucky enough to be on their guest list for the Leicester gig so you're going to see quite a few more images of them over the next few days.
