I would challenge that saying tbh, here's 263 seconds of North Pier at Blackpool from the weekend when it was a high high tide, I really wanted a lot more cloud but what will be will be!

I had to wait for well over 2 months for these conditions to align, a high high tide, minimal wind and a sky with some decent clouds, I'm happy with 2 out of 3 but was hoping for more clouds, possibly a good reason to go back at some point

Kinda messed up here as I was rather hoping the tide was going to be out revealing the end of the jetty which is a bit nice. Had to bail out well after an hour after sunset as it was just too dark, glow courtesy of Southport light pollution which has helped this one along a bit really.
