The very 1st shot of a 3 day Northumberland photographic holiday. Taken on Chemical Beach, so named as many years ago there was a chemical works on this site, there are still sunken pipes and other artifacts that are revealed when the tide goes out.

Kinda messed up here as I was rather hoping the tide was going to be out revealing the end of the jetty which is a bit nice. Had to bail out well after an hour after sunset as it was just too dark, glow courtesy of Southport light pollution which has helped this one along a bit really.
