I love learning and have wanted to try to learn how to knit for a while. So I found a class at a local yarn shop, dragged a friend and have gone to two lessons so far. This is going to be some sort of a headband/ear warmer and then we'll make fingerless gloves. I'm really loving the yarn that I picked and can see how this could become an expensive hobby....but we'll see if I can handle the patience required to do something more complex than a rectangle.
