Cherbourg, le souterrain sous la Montagne du Roule, le StP 255.
Le 26 juin 1944 en début de soirée plus de 300 prisonniers sont capturés dans les sections basses des souterrains du Fort du Roule après plusieurs attaques des équipes de démolition du 2nd Bn/314th Inf. de la 79th US Infantry Division.
