Testing Carl Zeiss Jena Visionar 119mm f1.9 - vintage cine projector lens.

When you buy lens just for its blur effect, any details/sharpness of the subject becomes added bonus :)
Supposed to be better in quality compared to Carl Zeiss Kipronar due to different optics but I can't notice any. My Kipronar, with fungus and scratches, is equally good :)

The direction of the light, shadows, color contrasts and the sharp change in DOF between the flower and background seem to create a 3D effect, and to me, the flower looks to pop out from the background. Found references that possibly Zeiss lens character could be one of the reason.
