Tamron SP 350mm F/5.6

Finally got one after seeing so many great results from this lens. The first thing I did was to compare against Minolta 250mm f5.6, the legendary ultra compact light weight high quality mirror lens.
Based on the quick tests, I can't find much difference in the sharpness - Tamron comes pretty close to the sharpness of Minolta. If not for the compactness or for 250mm focal length of Minolta, I would say Tamron 350mm is a perfect alternative. And price wise, Tamron 350mm costs half of Minolta.
