A “Well B” machinery wagon 11813 loaded with a van body sits in the headshunt at New Bridge PWay yard, North Yorkshire Moors Railway, 12th April 2009. This vehicle is a product of the London and South Western Railway and was built at Eastleigh Works in 1921. In the 1950’s it was transferred to departmental stock and used as a cripple wagon for EMU bogies. It arrived on the North Yorkshire Moors Railway in 1975 and was refurbished in October 2004 including chassis repairs and a completely new floor. It left the North Yorkshire Moors Railway in June 2010 for display at the National Railway Museum at Shildon .
