Northern Rail 158901 approaches Barton Lane, Attenborough working 1Y03, 06:00 Sheffield – Nottingham, 25th June 2013. . Most of the Northern Rail services to Nottingham use the Trowell branch however the first two services in the morning from Sheffield are routed via Toton and Attenborough Junction in order to retain route knowledge for the Northern Rail train crew of the alternative route.
