The M M Ahmed committee hold talks with the Governor of West Pakistan (later Punjab) Gen Atiqur Rehman, and Governors-designate of Sindh Gen Rakhman Gul, Balochistan (Gen Riaz Hussain) and NWFP (Gen K M Azhar) for breaking up One Unit into four provinces. Balochistan became a province for the first time. Meanwhile the participants seem buried in files.
