This rustomod beast began life as a standard-issue 1987 BMW M5, and has mutated from a neglected yard ornament to a formidable road monster. While the original Rusty will live on in infamy as a continually evolving enigma, this example serves daily tire-shredding duty for captain skinny pants and famed reclusive German tuner Günther Fahrvergnügen.
This overpowered rust bucket rolls smoothly, sitting just a panel wall’s thickness off the ground. On the detailing front, a chrome pen accent on the tip of a technic 1/2 pin behind the inner headlights creates that projector lens feeling, while graphic inserts were employed for the tail lights and a personalized plate gives some insight into Günther’s state of mind.
