The Escort RS is a Malaise Era rally legend, born from the classic recipe: One part lightweight, compact RWD daily commuter car, two parts stuff it with a serious motor, and a dash of extend the wheel arches to fit some wide and seriously grippy tires so you can shred your way to victory. The Mk2 RS1800 dominated Group 4 and went on to take the World Rally Championship, winning Ford its first coveted Manufacturer's Title. Group 4 homologation specials like the RS remain incredibly unique cars with serious presence and outlandish fun factor. This #5 car recently joined the PYP stable and has definitely been making an impression.
