La Brute.
In the automotive world, one of my favorite sights is to see something that was never intended to be, and yet seems somehow undeniably necessary and inevitable.
Seen here is my brick built salute to Oxtaco’s brilliant, brutish and truly inventive VR6 swapped Renault Dauphine. The distorted proportions contrasted with the classic chrome work and lovely bulbous curves of the Dauphine tick every possible box, and it’s all topped off with a touch of rust and patina driving home that this is a purpose built machine that only exists to deliver pure driving satisfaction.
If you aren’t familiar with Justin Cashmore aka Oxtaco on IG, go check him out to learn more about this incredible project :)
I hope you enjoy!
