CSX 5117 leads I136 up the west slope of Sand Patch grade amidst vibrant fall colors. The rear marker of I015 had disappeared around the bend only 6 minutes prior to I136 making an appearance providing us little time to relocate to a different angle.

CSX SD70AC 4572 leads train I015 under Keystone Viaduct on the west slope of Sand Patch Grade amidst vibrant fall color. The 910 foot long through truss bridge was built in 1911 by the Western Maryland Railway as part of the Connellsville Extension.

AMTK 152 emerges from Falls Cut Tunnel leading the eastbound Capitol Limited with peak fall color only a few days away. Siemens ALC 42 locomotives have recently begun making appearances on this train making the 21 year old GE P42 a welcome sight.
