"Rustic Ornate Birdhouse with Steeple" by Patti Deters. This beautiful rustic old wooden birdhouse was hand crafted by the patriarch of a large family and has been handed down as a treasured family heirloom through three generations. There is a steeple and a sort of a bell tower on top of the steep tin roof. The creator added a knob from a door handle and a metal circle design to the front and set the whole thing on several layers of support base. This beautiful antique piece of wooden architecture is more for show, but there have been birds that have used the building on occasion. It is set on a platform against the log cabin walls of an old shed, photographed and presented in a vertical crop.
