Very skillful on the trees are these guys. Makes me wish I could do that :D, but then again, I'd have to have large claws and then they'd kinda get in the way of playing the guitar..... and photography, and a probably most other things I like to do....I mean, I could scratch people and stuff.....I'd pretty much have to go live in the forest.....That would be kinda cool........living in nature, in the trees all day and night........ Mmmm, I think I'd rather not have claws....
I read about these lizard creatures on Wikipedia and it said that those strawberry (half) hearts on their chins are "brightly colored dewlaps" (just the quoted part...) and that they extend them and dance around during their mating season (mostly during summer time). Ha ha. My niece said "the lizards have strawberries coming out of their chins." LOL...
This was taken in Florida in a friend's backyard. It's one of those kind of backyards where you can get away from all the noise. I felt like I was deep in the woods... (had to get out of the house)... The weather outside during the evening was perfect, there was always a slight breeze, the light was golden, and these little guys were all over the place....

Single bird. Those little birds are all over the place, diving, turning, climbing at quite sporadic intervals. Testing the tracking capabilities of the 70-300mm lens on a small, single object. Very pleased...

Boisea trivittata is an American species of true bug, commonly known as the
Box Elder Bug, or Maple Bug. It is found primarily on boxelder trees, as well as maple and ash trees [1] . The adults are about 12½ mm (½ in) long with a dark brown or black coloration, relieved by red wing veins and markings on the abdomen. Nymphs and immature bugs are bright red.
The boxelder bug is sometimes known as a garage beetle; the unscientific name "stink bug," more regularly applied to the family Pentatomidae, is sometimes used to refer to Boisea trivittata.
People who move to southern states often confuse this species with one or more of the scentless plant bugs, Jadera spp.

A friend's dog, Sadie, was exploring the grassy field that was sprinkled with little purple flowers.
