A lot of women I know are all excited by the new Nordstrom that is opening on September 18th on the corners of Georgia and Granville. Originally this building was built and occupied by Eaton's in the mid '70's where I worked for many years and then when Eaton's closed it was taken over by Sears, which also eventually closed. I hope Nordstrom has more luck but it is kitty corner to The Bay and Holt Renfrew is nearby. I am not a good judge of this anymore as shopping doesn't thrill me as it once did so it will be interesting to see what happens.
