I timed my walk perfectly today
I heard them before I saw them
so I readied my camera
what a sight and what a cacaphony
and there were two more
massive squadrons while
I walked ... so fabulous !

We lucked out yesterday, we stepped out of our car just as a huge group of snow geese were approaching. I was smart and managed to pull out my phone to record them, it was frustrating as they were spread out so far and I was just capturing the center. There were also some magnificent poofy clouds all along the horizon, poodles and elephants and dragons, it was a real treat.

a little video I took before I went to bed of the snow falling. Our hummingbird feeder has a nice heater to prevent it from freezing. Ross made it, he's so clever :) There should be quite a lot in the morning as it is supposed to snow all night ...
