Whenever I am exploring a neighbourhood I always think of which house is most appealing to me and invariably I choose an older home with character. This one appealed to me because of the two red chairs on the small back balcony and the two tall trees. It has a quiet charm.

I love macarons, my favourite flavour is pistachio. I saw this delicious mountain of them in a Kerrisdale bakery yesterday and just couldn't resist a silly shot :)

Rain!! it has been RAINING!!! and then raining AGAIN!! and the cloud formations have been glorious. I took this from the car yesterday just before we entered the tunnel southbound.
