this house has now been replaced with a townhouse development. The Hobbit House up the street from it was saved though but it sure looks odd next to the modern architecture.

Astoria has a fascinating history, we just barely scratched the surface of its many interesting streets and neighbourhoods when we visited it earlier in April, lots for our next visit :)
