An older 2003 photo of a day we went sailing on the Lord Sheffield around St. Maarten. The Canadian crew was great, as well as the water, weather, on-board BBQ and the rum punch.
The Lord Sheffield is a 72-foot square-rigged ship known as a brigantine. Unfortunately, in October of 2014, Hurricane Gonzalo severely damaged the Lord Sheffield during the storm and it sunk. Efforts were made to raise and repair the ship. I'm not sure if they were successful, we haven't seen it around in years.
