A panoramic mobile shot taken on Le Galion Beach looking across Baie de L'Embouchure towards the Quarter of Orleans. This is on the French side of Saint Martin and has always been one of our favorite beaches on the island. The bay is quite shallow which also makes it a popular spot with the local residents and their small children.

Another archive photo from St. Martin, this one is a magical sunset captured white on a “Sunset Sail Cruise” just off the coast of the island. Unfortunately, the wonderful old Canadian schooner that we were on was destroyed by a hurricane a few years later. Regardless, Caribbean sunsets just seem a bit special and this one was a keeper.

A photo deep from my archives that shows my wife (left) and her sister sitting on top of Pic du Paradis (Paradise Peak in English). This mountain on Saint Martin is 1,391 feet (424 meters) tall, making it the highest point of the island.

In the backdrop of the photo is the Quartier-d'Orléans, a seaside village on the eastern coast of the island. The views here are awesome and on a clear day, you can see the surrounding islands of Anguilla, Saint Barthélemy, Saba and St. Eustatius too.
