Short video clip taken on my phone to illustrate the cuteness.

One of the benefits of not working full time was being able to visit Donna Nook on a week day. It was still pretty busy - but nothing like going at a weekend during seal pup season.

The background noise is a Chinook helicopter, that was flying round and round (and various camera shutters...).

I took quite a few photos on my 'real' camera, but not sure when they might get uploaded!

Phoebe is getting old and slow now and I realised that I don't have more than a couple of video clips of her... so thought I'd video her playing in the garden with my daughter. She thought she'd rather just lie there, though (and all Rebel wanted to do was sunbathe; you can see him flopped in the background).

The sound quality isn't brilliant, but I wanted to share the wonderful song (or as much as can be crammed into such a short clip) of a nightingale, singing in a bush, at Whisby Nature Park, Lincs, this afternoon.

I'm afraid the video isn't a visual delight - not much to see when the nightingale is deep in scrub! Please excuse the awful zoom in and out part way through - it's the first time I've used the video bit on the camera and wanted to see if it worked (it doesn't). It took bloody ages to upload to Flickr, so I don't suppose I'll be doing this often...
