In Reno County, Kansas just northwest of Hutchinson there exists Yaggy with just a few people in a few homes. The Post Office was open from January 1900 to May of 1901 and the Santa Fe and Missouri Pacific hauled freight and passengers through here. The MP line is left today and is owned by the Kansas and Oklahoma Railroad a subsidiary of Watco which owns and or operates 45 short lines in North America and Australia. The EMD SD45 diesel shown here was built in 1968 for the Southern Pacific and was updated to an SD40-2M sometime in the last few years. A sharp paint scheme for this aging EMD beast! 1407
