A very still evening..The bronze sun is about to set on bosphorus..No wind..Smogs are rising lazily on the thin air; there is no wind to disturb them. Movements seem to be frozen. There is a 15 degree celcius warmth on the evening, on beginning of March. Very high pressure on air. This is what we call as 'Lodos'..

Efkar, means 'deep sorrow'. It's an Arabic word that we use in Turkish. The actual meaning is more than 'deep sorrow'. I don't think that there is an exact definition of that term in English: it also means deep sorrow in a very beautiful condiition or a happy moment. A lovely moment, that you need to be so happy, but instead you feel with a deep sorrow. That might be something that moment may remind you from the past, may be a sad moment or memory. At that moment, I took this photo, I was so happy to catch it, but when I come back home, I realized that, I had forgotten a promise that I made to my daughther. I forgot it while sprending time photographing. Therefore, I felt two emotions at once: happiness because of the capture and sorrow because I had disaapointed my daughther..Taken in Çengelköy-Istanbul
