Usualy I try not to capture religous places. When it comes to Istanbul, you can see lots of mosques and mosque photos. Yes, in the old city, there are marveloous mosques, from Architecture Sinan times, but I keep my distance with them.Here is a mosque, another nice one from Ottoman times, but is not directly captured, it is an indirect capture..My main aim was to capture the light rays, shining on the people silhouttes, waiting in front of the buffet, to get their teas or toasts..

Another shutter speed experiment, that allows me to create that'sci-fi' effect. The crowd, moving out from the underground to daylight, seemed like a scene from 'Metropolis'. Also, the moving crowd seem likehaving no consious; they seem to move like automatically..I like the high shutter speed allowing me to draw lines with light, on the siihouttes..
