Minoo is a Persian model, who lives in Istanbul since 4 years. She has learned all aspects of Turkish language and culture. She works here as a freelance model- mostly for fashion and textile industry. I have tried to put out her ''actress'' side with many different concepts and moods..Usually I don't tell the model what to do- I just explain the main concept and then let her do her own way--that is much more fun- to let her do her own acting..

I usualy have no plan when I start with my shootings. I do improvisation. I know what I can do, I know what I can not do; so I work on that path. I completely work with my instincts and my feelings. Like entering a music studio and producing a song there, with just emotions of that very moment. My camera ( Nikon D700) is my main instrument of producing the song- the model and the context are the background music of the song, which usualy end up with a sad or dark emotion.

From ''Mirror: the Door to alternative Self'' series, with Minoo..I guess my ''new way'' is getting a shape slowly. It sems that I will be trying to dive into ''alternative realities'' and trying to capture that ''feeling'' rather than chasing a technical result.
