A lifer and very exciting moment for us to see and photograph a Yellow-billed Cuckoo. This bird is a rarity in Quebec.

he is very shy and very quiet, you can hear this bird more often that you can see him. he stands in the dense foliage of trees or in the tangle of undergrowth

This photo is not the best picture but it is still very good for the small amount of time and the only chance that Richard had to photograph this bird.


une première et tres belle surprise pour nous de voir et photographier un coulicou à bec jaune. Cet oiseau est une rareté au Québec.
il est très craintif et très discret, on l entend plus souvent qu' on peux le voir. il se tient dans le feuillage dense des arbres ou
dans les fouillis du sous bois.
Cette photo n est pas la meilleur photo mais elle est tout de même très bien pour le peu de temps et la seule chance que Richard a eu pour le photographier.
