Down near San Luis Obispo. I just got lucky with the kayakers.

Part of a Morro Bay photo set from 2005 that I "re-discovered" when getting older stuff up on my website.

The image quality on that cheap Tamron 70-300mm lens wasn't the greatest, but Lightroom helped clean up the photo a lot.

When the new Dumbarton Bridge was opened (spanning the southernmost part of the San Francisco Bay between Fremont and Palo Alto) the old Dumbarton Bridge was demolished in the middle, but most of the span was left standing and turned into a fishing pier.

I took this way back in 2005, and "re-discovered" it recently when getting old photo sets up on my website.

Taken from a vantage point above Arcata Bay after a massive rainstorm came through the Eureka area, causing much property damage through floods and winds, and closing all the major routes into the area.
