It was great today to see this Banksy mural on the side of a building on Church Street, Stoke Newington.

The mural by graffiti artist Banksy once featured on the cover of the 2003 single Crazy Beat by rock band Blur.

Banksy's spoof image of the Royal Family is not quite what it was since Hackney Council ordered it to be painted over in 2009. It was only the protests of the building's owner and local residents that ensured this much of the mural survived! The rest iof the mural was covered over with black paint by council workers before they could be stopped - so sad :-(

This gorgeous cake was being used to raise funds for a local charity as part of the festivities at Hatfield House over the Diamond Jubilee weekend.

In traditional British style you had to guess the weight of the cake!
