The baby Tawny Owls are all around our house at night. I think it is unlikely that I will managed to get another picture of three together in the tree again though! This little one was keen to squeak.

The theme for this week is "Looking Up". Nice clear sky and where we live has low levels of light pollution.

This week's theme is best photographed in one day.... it is Supermoon night tonight!

There are three super moons in the first three months of 2019, but the Moon on February 19th is the closest and therefore the biggest of the year:

2019 Jan 21 full moon: 357,715 km (222,274 miles)
2019 Feb 19 full moon: 356,846 km (221,734 miles)
2019 Mar 21 full moon: 360,772 km (224,173 miles)

I love the Preda Bergün toboggan run. 5.5km of very cool track (in reality a snowy road) with hairpin corners, viaducts and speedy runs. I maxed out at nearly 48kph and with only four of us on the track we had the whole thing to ourselves. That makes it much safer as you don't want to get hit by a sledge, and I dislocated my shoulder on this run many years ago.

This is a still taken off my GoPro. I put a headlight on my helmet too so that you can see throughout the entire film: it's on youtube youtu.be/heGqaJSh2fI
