After getting the one shot near the Alex Theater, I walked south on Brand, heading towards the Americana. I turned around and saw this: the clouds now looking pink as the sunlight slowly faded.

While the funeral was going on in the main room, the doctor sat in his office, morose, trying to tell anyone who was around that it wasn't his fault, that he tried everything he could to save the woman. Of course, this was just an actor playing a role, so there was no attempt to interact with him.
If this were going on today, the doctor would be trying his hardest to avoid a malpractice suit. But over a hundred years ago people put their trust in doctors more than they do today.

I was shooting at very low light levels, despite my ISO, which caused the visitors to blur as they walked past the mourner.
