I was out for a walk earlier this evening. I saw this display in a small mom & pop store on Glendale Avenue. It was closed by the time I walked up to it and got this photo. It looks nice, but the Halloween store down the street opened not long ago, and I have yet to get any photos of the Halloween or Day of the Dead decorations.

I moved in close, since I was using my phone. I didn't want to do a digital zoom in on this. Yes, it's too early, but it does look pretty. Now I just have to find pumpkins, ghosts, goblins, witches and the like, and I will be happy for a while.

I walked around Brand Boulevard last night, looking for Halloween decorations. Nothing yet. I found this window display, which is nowhere near the store with the Christmas trees. The tree painted on the wall suggests a wintertime image, with the plush animals suggesting Christmas, or perhaps a fairy tale atmosphere.

I had brought along with me my Canon EOS with the purpose of getting stills of any Halloween decorations. As I did not find any, I decided to just use my phone to take this photo of the window display.

There were no Halloween decorations that were lit up, or in any store windows, so I grabbed a couple of photos of this store window. It's on the corner of Colorado and Brand in Glendale. Most of the store owners in this city bypass Halloween and go straight to Christmas. This looks more like a Christmas display, especially where stuffed or plush animals are involved. I thought this looked kind of cute, so I took a photo.

I got a wider view of the same window and display. I liked how the two unicorns appear to be looking at something out the window. The duck looks like its sleeping. I like the reflection of the giraffe too.
