I drove past this place the other day, coming back from the supermarket. I decided to take a chance and walk up this afternoon to get some stills of it, and some other things of interest in downtown Glendale.
Not much can be done if there are no kits to do tests. Let's hope that changes in the next few days.

In-N-Out Burgers is one of the most popular burger joints in California. Oddly enough, this particular restaurant didn't open its doors for takeout orders. Other such places and restaurants on Brand (which is where this is located) are open for takeout business.

The Americana is all but dead, the shops closed, the kiosks boarded up. Only the Barnes & Noble bookstore remains open, and not that many people are going there.
This is the view south on Brand. There was a bit more traffic before I took the photo, but there would be a string of traffic with the light green. Today was the exception.

I took the same photo and rendered it into black and white. I thought the stark, empty lane and closed shops lent itself better to black and white than color.

I got up early in order to be down at Ralphs before eight. Some of us were let in before eight, and while there were people working hard to restock the shelves there were still too many empty ones. I did manage to get a loaf of bread and another roll of paper towels, along with a few other items, but I still didn't get everything I was looking for. It isn't a shortage per se, it is panic buying, with people stocking up, basically hoarding, and they don't need to do that.
These shelves used to have pasta sauce, among other things. The pasta was further down, but the only things left were boxes of elbow macaroni. I guess I'm not the only one who is not a fan of elbow macaroni.
