This is what comes of self-isolation. I try not to venture out too far from the apartment, unless it is to run errands. I try to walk, both for the exercise and to save gas on the car. There aren't too many places left to photograph, so I now check the skies while standing outside my porch. Tonight, I got this nice view of beautifully textured clouds as the sun was setting. The clouds slowly moved off to the east, clear skies behind it.

I wandered over to the Americana, just to see if the decorations were still up. They were not only up, but nothing has changed since Christmas, it seems. Perhaps they will come down on the 6th. I may drop by and check it out.
This photo, by the way, was taken on the 2nd floor of the Barnes & Noble Bookstore, which hardly had any business going on inside.

Apparently, this store had an employee or two test positive for COVID-19. Please, people, wear your masks in the stores, and make sure your hands are sanitized. We can't afford to lose any more people, nor can stores like this afford to remain closed for an indefinite length of time.

The store inside looks a little empty, but the window dressing looks about the same. It was hard to tell before, as the last time I got a photo of this place it was daylight outside and people were standing around the window and inside the store.

Normally, the lights for the golden guy statue in the fountain would be on. But, the management is trying to makeup the shortfall of business by keeping their electric bills as low as possible. And one way is to wait until it is much darker before turning these lights on. I guess even billionaires like Mark Caruso has to tighten their belts once in a while.
