Tried to shoot sunset from the observation tower the evening before, but every time someone climbed up the tower it shook to much for the tripod. Maybe I should have been concerned at the movement in itself, but I was more frustrated that the camera was shaking :-)

Tried again for sunrise, I figured no-one would be up there at 5:15am… and I was right, genius I told myself!

Well there was a hummingbird up there, zooming around gobbling up pesky flies for me, very cool to watch!

This time though there was a slight breeze which isn't so good for a 6second exposure at a longish focal length, still I came away with some shots that I was reasonably happy with.
