So I got to Busse Woods ahead of sunrise. Stumbled around in the predawn light and found what I thought was I great composition. Then I waited. As the sun rose and started lighting up the clouds, I took numerour bracketed exposures wondering if it would be better a few minutes later, and a few minutes later, taking the same shot and wondering the same again.
Eventually I declared that I had seen the best of what was on offer and walked a minutes further up the path, only to find this better composition, take one bracketed exposure and be done. :-)

First Saturday without needing to run in a while. So I decided to still get up at stupid-o-clock and head to Busse Woods to see if I could catch a sunrise over the lakes there. I've never been to Busse woods before, it's well worth a visit.
There was no wind at all this morning, everything was completely still, which made for great reflections of the sunrise, but also great reflection on the water from the numerous tree limbs dotted around just off shore.
They seemed like an obvious candidate for some black and whites. So I flicked the camera into black and white mode (gotta love mirrorless) to confirm or deny my thoughts, and off I went with a few different frames.
