Barcloy Hill, taken from Castle Point with beautiful natural light. This shot made me realise how much timing is important in photography. The 3 shots posted from New Year's Day were all taken within a short time frame. Looking at this view with its perfect light, i started to think if only it had happened 20 mins earlier, that the 3 shots taken would have rolled into one complete perfect shot taken from the viewpoint of Lagmuck Sands. The sea would have been lapping around the rock, the cloud trails would have been pointing towards Hestand Island and the most perfect light would have been covering Barcloy Hill and Castle Point. I love all 3 shots for different reasons, but timing could have meant a completely different result.
