A frozen sunrise on Kapps Loch. We decided to stay in Greenock after going to a gig in Glasgow at Oran Mor. I had seen this loch used a few times and thought i would take a look. I bumped into Beemer Boy and had a good chat with him. I managed to get a couple of shots from here, so quite pleased with my first visit here.

Portencross, this old jetty is one that always makes me look and wonder, such an impressive subject. I have seen so many shots especially at sunset, though timing wise i wasn't going to be around at sunset so decided on a long 3 min exposure as the clouds were moving quite fast...this is the Lee Big Stopper version.

The old jetty at Portencross, some people asked to see it in mono, well here is the mono version converted raw file through lightroom and silver efex pro. I tried to give it a bit more of a textured look, so you could feel the concrete beneath my feet.
