A cold day in Glen Etive, looking back up the River Etive to Sron Na Creise with still a little snow on its flanks.

Sunset Over Glen Coe

When winter turns into Spring in Glen Coe. Looking down from Beinn a' Chrulaiste towards Buachaille Etive Mor and surrounding valley.

Its been really bad weather over the past couple of weeks as we all know, so with not being able to get out much I've taken the chance to jump back into the archives for this image.

Buachaille Etive Mor by Brian Kerr Photography

One of the most photographed locations in Scotland, so so many people visit this spot year after year. Those people could be tourists, day trippers, amateur photographers and the many professional photography workshops. Everyone that parks at the couple of locations near the bridge, make their short walk to the falls, over the terrain that usually now resembles a mud bath. The vegetation has almost completely gone from the path with all the foot traffic, the banking in front of the falls has been eroded so much over the past few years, for various reasons including those getting closer and closer to the falls.

We all love our Scotland, just we need to think about where and how we walk, how we treat this precious landscape of ours.
