A sign at the border tripoint between the Dutch provinces of North Holland, South Holland, and Utrecht. The actual tripoint is in the river behind the sign: Utrecht is to the right of the sign, South Holland is to the left, and North Holland is across the river.

The border marker at the tripoint between the Netherlands, Belgium, and Germany, near Vaals. The lines on the ground show the borders: the Netherlands is the small section to the left, Belgium is in front, and Germany is behind the marker.

This is actually quite a busy tourist trap, so to get a good photo without any other tourists, I had to splice two photos together.

In the middle of this seemingly uninteresting creek lies the border tripoint of the countries of Belgium, Luxembourg, and Germany.

The creek itself is the border between Germany and the other two; the tiny little stream that flows into it is the border between Belgium (right) and Luxembourg (left), so the bridge connects Belgium and Germany. I took the picture from the German side.

Monument near the border tripoint between Germany, France, and Switzerland. This monument is in Basel, Switzerland. The actual tripoint is in the middle of the river behind it. The opposite side of the river is in France, and the bridge in the background connects France with Germany.

An old border stone from 1659, marking the tripoint where the borders of Overijssel (Netherlands), Bentheim, and Münster come together. Nowadays, Bentheim and Münster are part of the German states of Lower Saxony and North Rhine-Westphalia, respectively, so this is still a place where different borders meet.
