Lake OโHara - 11 kilometers to the lake in one way from parking lot, if you are lucky to book the shuttle, you can spare this 22 kilometer walking, save the energy to climb 10~20 kilometers mountains. Access to Lake OโHara is strictly controlled with a reservation system, which means that it is never crowded. The most difficult booking shuttle bus in the world. Book online in April every year, and then draw lottery.
The mountain climbing for a total of 7 hours, about 10 kilometers, and the height of the mountain was 2,315 meters. The trail is rated as difficult! It is a beautiful sub-alpine glacial lake surrounded by the towering peaks of the Canadian Rockies. There is an extensive network of trails that lead you around the lake, into nearby alpine basins, and up onto mountainside ledges with amazing views. It was a tough climbing, some part of the mountains covered with snow, very slippery, muddy, narrow and steep. One falling may lose the life... Felt tired both mentally and physically after this hiking and climbing. The scenery on the top of the mountain was breathtaking and shocking, and forgot that there might be bears around... Others saw it. ๐
The photo was taken more than half way to the top of the mountain.
