I captured observation platform many times in the early morning. All the photos posted were blue hour or sun-rising. This one was golden hour when the sun rays scattered to this mysterious platform. Tele-lens was used to get the at observation platform of Journey Behind the Falls clearly. The light shining in the morning illustrated the hope and peace!

Very little sunrise colors that morning, stars hidden somewhere on the sky… Walking along the long walking path, tried to find the best and closest location to position my tripod to avoid the brunches, icy poles… to capture the snow world at Horseshoe Falls. The observation platform was always the best subject due to the mist was blowing to the other side, the Horseshoe Falls and cliffs were not under mist hazard. I know, I captured many of it, bearing with me, but none of them were same: the light, the location, the snow, the icicles…😉 I put ND filter on, I could get a bit longer exposure. I was hesitated to do it, no cover to protect the filter from the crazy blowing sprays, sprays stuck on the lens becoming ice grains… Here is “sunrise” falls without red colors 😊

I wanted to capture the night stars at Niagara Falls, traveled there again in the dark early morning on the past weekend. The background lights were too strong, I could only see the stars when I zoomed in the photo… 😉 Not great light like a week ago, but still showed the unique winter Horseshoe Falls.
