Heartfelt thanks for being with me in this special year my dear Flickr friends! Wishing all my friends a prosperous New Year with love, health, and joy! Happy 2021 to all my Flickr friends!

We are locked down for 28 days starting Dec.26th. It was announced yesterday, I was told you could not even squeeze into COSTCO now… Full of people… I am a healthcare worker, working until 24th. A bit difficult to get grocery shopping done before Christmas… Oh well, hopefully delivering still works. 😉

The two Lume Cubes purchased online from B&H could not come until end of the year, it makes the plan for macro practice at home during Christmas difficulty… But the most important now is safe and healthy for all of us!

It was near the end of the day, getting out of the barren world in the forest without paved road for the whole day driving, could not imagine if the car stopped in the middle of nowhere in the forest, no cell signal, no people… I was a little scared whenever I thought of it. But I forgot it when this scenery was shown before me when passing a bridge, the lake reflected the forest and houses like mirror, I felt I could almost walk into it on the bridge… 😊 Very often wandering around by driving, sometimes got nothing, but there were always surprises… Here was one at Quebec from past fall.

It was very dark in the early morning, climbing to the highest lookout point at Moraine Lake. Captured stars in the dark on the edge of the rocks... Waited over two hours until the top of the peaks were becoming golden under the sun. The two boats were in the middle of the lake, they were taking the sunrise photos on the boats. Luckily the lake was calm to reflected the peaks. The beautiful Moraine Lake was looming in the mist from the blue hour to red with sunrise light, then golden hour…
