After completing a strenuous journey over the Berkshire mountains from Selkirk Yard, CSX train no. Q014 is about to knock down the final mile to its destination of Worcester, Massachusetts. Since I arrived in Worcester, this shot was high on the 'to get' list. After a few unsuccessful attempts over the course of the week, I finally got what I wanted on Monday morning. What started off as a blustery and nearly frigid morning, turned for the better as Q014 popped into view. The 'railfan gods' were on my side, as I watched the scene in front of me become illuminated in golden morning light as the clouds momentarily parted. For the 10 times that I had gotten cloud f***ed this week, this one made up for it!
