Well, it looks like this warbonnet lost the war...
I don't typically post roster shots on Flickr, but I couldn't resist sharing this one of BNSF 868, not because it's a good shot because of the horrendous shape it's in. Have you ever seen such a depleted looking locomotive? Despite the 868's rough shape, it's still nice to see that the warbonnets have been (for better or worse) left untouched.

BNSF 746 which still wears the iconic Santa Fe 'warbonnet' scheme, pauses momentarily in Stuart Street Yard as CN 331 prepares to complete it's work. This is undoubtedly my favourite paint scheme; shooting one leading for the first time in my home town was a real treat!
