While on assignment I saw the framing of the trees around the church. At that time the lighting wasn't right. I patiently waited a week for everything to come together.

Welcome to Moscow, Idaho sign. Early morning on a fall day.

This was a tricky shot. I had to wait just for the right moment when the lights illuminating the sign balanced with the morning light. There's maybe a two minute window when everything came together. Planning and observation over the years helped out. Also that we finally had a sunny day.
