I can't give you an exact build date for this Arby's since Mechanicsville records doesn't provide one, but the 70s is definitely the right decade (UPDATE: Actually 1983. I was totally off :P). It's obvious when you look at the restaurant inside and out, even though the style of the dining room certainly isn't original. To me it looks like something from the late 1990s/early 2000s, when Arby's restaurants heavily featured wood grain elements, muted colors, and carpet. While it doesn't reach the heights of the nearby Glen Allen location I had just visited, I always love the aura of a classic, comfortable Arby's.
